The fabric is thick yet stretchy, allowing for slow, controlled muscle warm-ups. 👍 They also help with pelvic alignment, and since they make it obvious when your turnout isn’t perfect, they’re great for receiving hands-on corrections from your teacher. 🫣 The slit below the knee gives a nice flow, making pliés and attitudes effortless. Even during Pilates movements that require knee bending, there’s no restriction at all! Unlike tight, compressive leggings, these offer a supportive yet gentle fit, making them comfortable to wear over a leotard. If you feel a bit self-conscious about wearing just a leotard but still want to check your posture, these leggings are the perfect solution. The waistband has a layered diagonal design, making it easy to check if you’re engaging your core during Pilates. Instead of covering it with a long top, I’d definitely recommend pairing it with a cropped top to highlight the waistline!
